Course Description: In this module, Red Seal Electricians develop the skills to safely interconnect utility interactive (grid-tied) solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to industry specifications. Learners complete quality checks and apply codes and regulations. Emphasis is placed on safe work practices, including proper use of PPE, hazard assessments, and electrical safety checks. Upon completion, learners are prepared to perform compliant and reliable solar PV electrical interconnections. This module is part of the Clean Technology: Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems Connections & Maintenance microcredential.
